Successful cooperation: Neuburger opts for recyclable and resource-saving packaging solution from adapa for its innovative HERMANN range of vegetarian products.

In cooperation with adapa, the plastic portion of the existing packaging was reduced by approximately 80%.
The new solution uses the recyclable, high-performance VACUflex(re) EX-T as bottom film. This polyolefin film combines best machinability with highest product protection. Its EVOH barrier offers a high oxygen barrier. VACUflex(re) EX-T is then combined with the transparent and recyclable FlexTop(re) top film. Despite reducing the amount of plastics used considerably, the recyclable alternative offers highest product safety and reliable sealing properties with excellent peelability. And as an added value, it is also suitable for pasteurization.
